About Casselberry HVAC

Casselberry HVAC provides residential air conditioning service for homeowners in Casselberry and the unincorporated Seminole County pockets around it — repairs, changeouts, heat pump conversions, ductwork and maintenance. The median home here was built in 1977, which shapes every one of those jobs.

What to expect

Measure, then quote

The four things that go wrong most often in this city are all measurable before anyone spends money: a duct system at its static pressure limit, an oversized replacement that cannot dehumidify, a permit filed at the wrong building department, and a rebate lost because the Home Energy Check was not booked first.

So we measure static pressure and duct leakage before selecting equipment, run a load calculation on the house rather than matching the tonnage of whatever is already on the pad, and confirm jurisdiction from the parcel record before applying for a permit. We ask about the Home Energy Check on the first call, because after the install it is too late.

What we will tell you not to buy

  • Coastal corrosion packages. Casselberry is about 40 miles inland. Salt-air coil corrosion is a genuine problem in Brevard and Volusia; it is not a meaningful factor here.
  • HVHZ hardware. The High-Velocity Hurricane Zone is Broward and Miami-Dade only under the 2023 Florida Building Code — Residential, R202. Regular Florida wind-load and tie-down requirements apply here and we meet them; South Florida HVHZ requirements do not apply and you should not be billed for them.
  • A bigger system. In this housing stock, oversizing is the problem, not the solution.
  • A replacement over a $200 part. A failed capacitor on a sound eight-year-old system is a repair.
Where we work

Service area

Casselberry city limits and ZIP 32707 first, plus the unincorporated Seminole County pockets with Casselberry mailing addresses — Deer Run, Fern Park and ZIP 32730 included. We also cover Winter Springs, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Maitland, Winter Park and Oviedo.

Residential only. We do not take on commercial mechanical work and we will say so rather than take the request.

Licensing

How to check your contractor

Florida licenses air conditioning contractors under Chapter 489, Part I of the Florida Statutes, through the DBPR Construction Industry Licensing Board. Section 489.105(3) defines the classes by scope: a Class A air-conditioning contractor is unlimited; a Class B contractor is limited to 25 tons of cooling and 500,000 Btu of heating in any one system. Ordinary residential changeouts sit comfortably inside Class B limits, so either class covers the work.

Section 489.119(6)(b) requires a contractor’s certification or registration number to appear in every offer of services, proposal, bid, contract or advertisement, in any medium — their website, not just their truck.

Verify any Florida HVAC contractor’s licence at the DBPR licensee search: myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp.

Where our numbers come from

Sources, not vibes

Every figure on this site names its source on the page it appears on. The housing-stock numbers come from the Seminole County Property Appraiser’s CAMA parcel extract dated 5 September 2026, filtered to improved residential parcels in the City of Casselberry tax district. Permit fees, hours and code editions come from the city and county building departments. Efficiency standards come from the US Department of Energy and the EPA. Prices come from named third-party cost guides and are labelled as market estimates, never as our pricing.

Where two sources disagree — and on Casselberry’s median build year, they do — we show you both and tell you which one we are using and why. We do not average them.

No reviews on this site, on purpose

You will not find star ratings, review counts or badges anywhere here. Anything we have not verified is not on the page, and rather than borrow someone else’s credibility we would rather give you something you can check: the county’s own parcel data for your street, the city’s published permit fee, the statute that governs your contractor’s licence, and the phone number for Duke Energy’s rebate line so you can confirm your own rebate rather than take our word for it.

Talk to us about your house

Build year, what the thermostat looks like, and what it is doing wrong. That is usually enough to start.
